Medal of Teacher

- Established by law No. 22 dated 3/8/1982 it is regulated by decree No. 990 dated 9/9/1983.
- It is awarded to members of the teaching staff, who have exercised teaching functions in public or private sectors for at least ten years, and were reputed for their good conduc and never convicted with a serious crime or deliquency.
- It comprises three grades: Gold, Silver and Bronze.
- May be awarded to the Teaching Staff after death.
