RANGERS REGIMENT

The emblem is composed of a tiger’s head symbolizing flexibility and aggressiveness at the same time, a soldier’s hand holding a bayonet to indicate the ranger’s capability to execute all special operations, the bayonet illustrates the silent weapon used in critical combats that are mastered by the rangers, the red color symbolizes the blood of the martyrs.

AIRBORNE REGIMENT

The sky is the symbol of the infinite and unlimited horizons of the ambition and work of the regiment. The eagle flapping its wings and pouncing down on its prey represents the will of the regiment to reach its objective with strength and determination, spreading terror, fire and destruction among the enemies

MARINE COMMANDO REGIMENT

The emblem is composed of an eagle symbolizing pride, vigor and might, an anchor symbolizing the sea, a pistol indicating special land operations, a cedar symbolizing immortality and adherence to the soil of nation and a Hachette symbolizing god of sea.

INTERVENTION REGIMENTS

The emblem consists of an arrow which means “always forward”, encompassing a bayonet illuminated by a lightning flash symbolizing assault and quick intervention.

FIELD ARTILLERY REGIMENTS

The emblem is composed of two green crossed canons with a red cannon ball in the center surrounded by flames of fire, symbolizing power and efficiency of the force. At the base, the name of the regiment is written in white. The background is in black.

FIRST TANK REGIMENT

The emblem consists of a shield and a helmet symbolizing strength and protection, as well as of two crossed canons denoting the power and efficiency of the fires, inside a blue circle alluding to the traditional color of cavalry, and a brown background representing the color of the soil reference to the attachment to national territory, the whole topped by the regiment name.

INDEPENDENT WORKS REGIMENT

The emblem consists of a tower illustrating its major task in construction works and encircled with laurel branches on both sides symbolizing contributions of the regiment towards victory. The red back-ground denotes readiness to accomplish all missions under all circumstances.

ENGINEERING REGIMENT

The emblem is composed of a tower and barbed wires symbolizing ramming and fortification works, a cogwheel symbolizing utilization of engineering machinery and lightning to denote utilization and neutralization of different types of explosives, mines and ammunitions.

ANTI-TANK REGIMENT

The emblem consists of a bat carrying anti-armor rocket denoting similarity of performance in transmitting frequencies, a red circle symbolizing blood and sacrifice and a green cedar symbolizing immortality.

SIGNAL REGIMENT

The emblem is composed of a flame symbolizing knowledge, a sword symbolizing right and power, an ellipse (electrons path) denoting continuous motion and renovation, radiations demonstrating persistence and a cedar tree symbolizing the nation and immortality.

TRANSPORT REGIMENT

The emblem is composed of a wheel symbolizing transport and two swords symbolizing combat support

LAND BORDER REGIMENTS

The emblem is formed of the following colors:
1- Green, 2- Brown, 3- Red, 4- Blue
It consists of an oval - shaped piece of cloth and in its center an observer fixed in the ground carrying a binocular and observing the borders of the homeland and defending it. And a green cedar refers to the symbol of the homeland and its green nature and immortality, and the brown color symbolizes the sacred soil of the homeland, and a red barbed wire symbolizes the protected borders of the homeland, and the blue color symbolizes the clear sky of the homeland and inside it at the top is written the logo at the name of the unit.
